Murder Investigation Launched After 17-Year-Old Boy Fatally Attacked at Brent Birthday Party


A murder investigation has been initiated following a tragic incident at a bustling birthday party in Granville Road, Brent. The victim, a 17-year-old boy, lost his life at the scene around 11:30 pm on Friday. Another male, also believed to be 17, was rushed to the hospital, while a woman in her early 20s sustained a hand injury.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers of the Metropolitan Police has shed light on the incident, stating, “We believe that there was a fight following a birthday party, which would have been attended by a number of people. I would also ask that anyone who may have captured any of last night’s events on their phone to also contact officers.”

While the teenager’s family has been notified, no arrests have been made at this stage. The authorities are diligently working on the case, determined to bring justice to the victim and his grieving family.

Chief Superintendent Dan Knowles expressed his condolences, acknowledging the shock and dismay felt by the community over this tragic loss of a young life. He reassured the public that the investigation, in collaboration with Specialist Crime, will proceed promptly and meticulously.

In response to the incident, an increased police presence will be visible in the local area.
