A heart-wrenching tragedy struck the Blonigen family as they bid farewell to their cherished son, Harrison Roger Blonigen, who earned his Heavenly wings one day before his fifth birthday. Visitation and Funeral Arrangements

The community is invited to pay their respects and offer condolences during the visitation, scheduled for Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, located at 104 West First Street, Jordan. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 30, 2023, with visitation time prior from 9:30-11 am at St Patrick Catholic Church, situated at 24425 Old Highway Blvd, Jordan. Father Michael Miller will preside over the service, and Harrison will find his final resting place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.

A Beloved Brother and Playmate

Born on June 26, 2018, in Northfield, MN, Harrison brought boundless joy to his family, becoming the favorite playmate of his older brother, Barrett. Harrison’s parents, Brian & Meghan Blonigen, were overjoyed as the family expanded with the arrival of Hendrick, a third baby boy. Harrison and his brothers shared a strong bond, and their lives transformed with the birth of their baby sister, Brooklyn Marie Blonigen, on March 11, 2022. The trio lovingly embraced the role of the “Big Bro Protection Co,” showering Brooklyn with endless love and care.

The Energetic and Adventurous Spirit

Harrison’s spirited and energetic nature was infectious. His days started early, brimming with enthusiasm to embrace every adventure that came his way. Whether it was hockey practice, baseball practice, or driveway sports, Harrison’s unwavering energy knew no bounds. He was a fearless and determined skater, making his mark in the New Prague Hockey Association as a Mite in the Fall of 2022. His joy on the ice was matched by the unwavering support of his mom, Meghan, who proudly donned Cardinal red, black, and white Trojan apparel as the ultimate “Hockey Mom.”

A Love for Family, Nature, and Animals

Harrison’s heart was full of love for his family, cousins, and pets. His passion for the outdoors was evident as he explored Grandpa’s farm and enjoyed swimming, boating, and fishing at Grandma’s lake place. His curiosity for all things related to animals, insects, and dinosaurs fueled his adventures. Harrison had a special way with animals, and they adored him as much as he did them. His daycare friends and provider, Ms. Karen, played an essential role in his early education, where he learned valuable life skills and made lasting friendships.

A Treasured Memory

Harrison leaves behind a legacy of sweetness, intelligence, and compassion that will forever resonate with those who knew him. The Blonigen family, including parents Brian and Meghan, siblings Barrett, Hendrick, Brooklyn, and grandparents Roger and Sharon Blonigen and MaryJo (Trent) Johnson, are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and support from friends, relatives, and the community.
