Clermont County ATV Accident: Boy, 11, Airlifted After Crash

An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after a serious ATV crash in Clermont County on Sunday evening.

The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Clermontville-Laurel Road and North Altman Road in Monroe Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The boy was riding an ATV with two other juveniles when he lost control and struck a utility pole, the patrol said. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown by AirCare to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

The other two juveniles were not injured, the patrol said. The crash remains under investigation.
